A lawyer by training, Morris-Cotterill has led the financial crime risk and compliance industry since 1994. He is the author of many articles and several books on various aspects of financial crime risk and compliance including the seminal works "How not to be a money launderer" (first edition 1996) and "Understanding suspicion in financial crime" (2015).
